For the Logo I wanted to capture the strange madness of the Wonka Brand with the spiral symbol as part of the word mark.
That symbol is meant to be flexible for a variety of different colors while remaining recognizable as part of the overall brand.
These preliminary sketches were created in the early stages of the process, at first, I tried to merge the whimsical with the chocolate aspect, but I didn't want a generic-looking chocolate brand. So I decided to stick with the approach of merging the whimsical feel with the candy aspect of the brand.
